Freedom Will Come

I’ve been to the holy land,
A place cherished by children of Abraham
But this bloodshed and carnage, don’t understand
Son raise your head, find the star in the night sky
Freedom will come Palestine, we hear it worldwide,

I see you creeping, over the border
So eager to take a life
Guns a blazing, you bring the horror
Tell me how you sleep at night

Children screamin, no tomorrow
That’s how they’ve lived their lives
Hope’s still burning, freedom will come
Everything’s gonna be alright

No matter how you try
You’ll never kill the hope burning bright deep inside
You may take their lives
But you’ll never kill the voice rising up
Freedom will come, Palestine

As a father buries his child,
You say she deserved to die
But aint nobody buying your lies
How can you say its right?

Demolition of homes and minds
In the eyes of a world gone blind
The revolution aint televised
In the streets, from the blood and dust,
You will hear their cry

Livin conditions vicious
Electricity missin
Villages pillaged
Mothers and children innocent victims
Indigenous however treated as if
They were the foreigner and criminal for showing resistance
Freedom limited by an occupant position
Inhibited transmission from humanitarians
This is just the beginning of these horrific incidents
Innocents disregarded so bombs drop, kill, and injure.
Tell me how hypocritical is it

To receive reparations for the crimes committed
Against you
Only to turn around and do
The same type of atrocities done to you

Face the truth
Justice will win through
And we all will answer for what we do
know oppression never lasts
Stand firm hold fast
To your faith
Let us pray Palestine
Will find freer days

Palestine Will Be Free

Every day we tell each other
That this day will be the last
And tomorrow we all can go home free
And all this will finally end
Palestine tomorrow will be free
Palestine tomorrow will be free

No mother no father to wipe away my tears
That’s why I won’t cry
I feel scared but I won’t show my fears
I keep my head high

Deep in my heart I never have any doubt
That Palestine tomorrow will be free
Palestine tomorrow will be free

I saw those rockets and bombs shining in the sky
Like drops of rain in the sun’s light
Taking away everyone dear to my heart
Destroying my dreams in a blink of an eye

What happened to our human rights?
What happened to the sanctity of life?
And all those other lies?

I know that I’m only a child
But is your conscience still alive

I will caress with my bare hands
Every precious grain of sand
Every stone and every tree
‘Cause no matter what they do
They can never hurt you
Coz your soul will always be free

Palestine tomorrow will be free
Palestine tomorrow will be free

Palestine

The Sound Of Reason are seem to be a new Islamic band that their work had appeared from a short period. This song is their first one I hear. It seemed interesting for me, nice dramatic genre that fits the song mood. The words are so good too. But, the most important at all, is this band most probably their music would be heard by western people who don’t have any clue about Palestine. Any way, listen to it and I’d like to know what you think about it.

Close my eyes tonight
My conscience by my side
It’s hard to live this life
Where truth begins with lies
So I won’t sleep…
I will stay awake
Cause if I dream…
Then they’ll take their claim
Oh I try… oh I try to fight
To stay awake tonight
Palestine, Palestine, Palestine
Always on my mind
Truth is where desire ends
A meaning to an end
I search myself all the time
To change what’s in my mind
So I won’t sleep… I will stay awake
Cause if I dream… then they’ll take their claim
Oh I try… oh I try to fight
To stay awake tonight
Palestine, Palestine, Palestine
Always on my mind I can’t find peace
Cause it’s hard to release what we’ve done
What we could be If we’d only see
What we’ve become It’s unbelievable…
It’s undeniable ohhhh!
I won’t free, won’t sleep,
Won’t dream, won’t eat, won’t breathe
Won’t give in to what’s building inside of me
Close my eyes tonight
My conscience by my side

Try Not To Cry

Sami Yusuf
You, you’re not aware
That we’re aware
Of your despair
Don’t show your tears
To your oppressor
Don’t show your tears
Try not to cry little one
You’re not alone
I’ll stand by you
Try not to cry little one
My heart is your stone
I’ll throw with you
Isam
‘Ayn Jalut where David slew Goliath
This very same place that we be at
Passing through the sands of times
This land’s been the victim of countless crimes
From Crusaders and Mongols
To the present aggression
Then the Franks, now even a crueler oppression
If these walls could speak,
Imagine what would they say!!
For me in this path that I walk on
There's only one way
Bullets may kill, bones may break
Still I throw stones
like David before me and I say,

Lenny
No llores, no pierdas la fe
(Don’t cry, don’t lose faith)
La sed la calma el que haze
(The one who made water come out of the sand)
Agua de la arena
(Is the one who quenches the thirst)
(And you who rise proud from between the stones)
Haz hecho mares de este polvo
(Have made oceans from this dust)
Waqas

I throw stones at my eyes
Cause for way too long they’ve been dry
Plus they see what they shouldn’t from oppressed babies to thighs
I throw stones at my tongue
Cause it should really keep its peace
I throw stones at my feet
Cause they stray and lead to defeat
A couple of big ones at my heart
Cause the thing is freezing cold
But my Nafs is still alive
and kicking unstoppable and on a roll
I throw bricks at the devil
So I’ll be sure to hit him
But first at the man in the mirror
So I can chase out the venom

Isam
Hmm, a little boy shot in the head
Just another kid sent out to get some bread
Not the first murder nor the last
Again and again a repetition of the past
Since the very first day same story
Young ones, old ones, some glory
How can it be, has the whole world turned blind?
Or is it just cause it’s only affecting my kind?!
If these walls could speak,
Imagine what would they say
For me in this path that I walk on
There’s only one way
Bullets may kill, bones may break
Still I throw stones like David before me and I say ..

I've Seen

I know that I've already posted this song before, but it's so inspiring and powerful ...

Sami Yusuf
I wish you were here
here next to me
I'm missing you so … so desperately

But lately I feel ... like you feel
And I see ... what you see
How I'm missing you..
Waqas
What happened to the Ummah once known so well?
We used to inspire others with our way of thinking and speech
People came from afar just to hear us teach

What happened to the Ummah once known so well?
Greatness was known but now can you tell

Mosques are empty,
Refrigerators are stocked
We lost our deen,
We feel secure because our mansions are locked

In my teen years salat really wasn't that tight
Now I gotta pray each one of them twice.

What happened to the Ummah once known so well?
Greatness was known but now can you tell

Brother we prefer light skinned women
While righteously maintain our deen against raicism (and tribalism)…

What happened to the Ummah once known so well?
Greatness was known but now can you tell
Can you
Isam
What happened to the Ummah once known so well?
Greatness was known but now can you tell

Kids in Africa starving cant afford to cry
I’ll pay the bank interest on a car I cant afford to buy

What happened to the Ummah once known so well?
Greatness was known but now can you tell
We used to smile at each other
With faces full of light
Now we frown on each other,
We bicker, and we fight

Pops in the mosque praying,
kids in the streets haitin
kids on the corner selling pot and in the mosque preaching…

What happened to the Ummah once known so well?
Greatness was known but now can you tell

The Quran has left our hearts
Stranded hanging on our walls
6,232 verses so strong
9 out of 10 of us cant even read it or write
1924 seems distand like way before Christ
Lenny
he bebido! perdon por mis pecados
>> Translation << { What happened to the Ummah? how can that be? The greatness known once I can’t see it no more I have seen my eyes falling in temptation Although life has given me light and ilussions I have drinked ! forgiveness for my sins I have the cross on the wall over my bed And the devil at my side What happened to the Ummah how can that be? The beauty I known I can’t see it no more I have felt the incompetence in my way to truth Everybody pretends to know it, but all I see is evil What happened to the Ummah how can that be? The purity I known I can’t see it no more }
Isam
If I was to fall on my knees
And ask you to forgive ...
Everything and anyone out of love
For the one … oh oh oh

I’ve seen ...

And if you were to fall on your knees
And ask me the same

But I don't even think about it …
lets just break out of the darkness of ignorance.

Look Into My Eyes

Look into my eyes
Tell me what you see
You don't see a damn thing
'cause you can't relate to me
You're blinded by our differences
My life makes no sense to you
I'm the persecuted one
You're the red, white and blue

Each day you wake in tranquility
No fears to cross your eyes
Each day I wake in gratitude
Thanking God He let me rise
You worry about your education
And the bills you have to pay
I worry about my vulnerable life
And if I'll survive another day

Your biggest fear is getting a ticket
As you cruise your Cadillac
My fear is that the tank that has just left
Will turn around and come back

Yet, do you know the truth of where your money goes?
Do you let the media deceive your mind?
Is this a truth nobody, nobody, nobody knows?
Someone tell me ...

Ooohh, let's not cry tonight
I promise you one day it's through
Ohh my brothers, Ohh my sisters
Ooohh, shine a light for every soul that ain't with us no more
Ohh my brothers, Ohh my sisters

See I've known terror for quite some time
57 years so cruel
Terror breathes the air I breathe
It's the checkpoint on my way to school
Terror is the robbery of my land
And the torture of my mother
The imprisonment of my innocent father
The bullet in my baby brother
The bulldozers and the tanks
The gases and the guns
The bombs that fall outside my door
All due to your funds

You blame me for defending myself
Against the ways of my enemies
I'm terrorized in my own land (what)
And I'm the terrorist?

American , do you realize that the taxes that you pay
Feed the forces that traumatize my every living day
So if I won't be here tomorrow
It's written in my fate
May the future bring a brighter day
The end of our wait

Ooohh, let's not cry tonight, I promise you one day it's through
Ohh my brothers, Ohh my sisters,
Ooohh, shine a light for every soul that ain't with us no more
Ohh my brothers, Ohh my sisters.

I Only Ask Of God

I only ask of God
He won't let me be indifferent to the suffering
That the very dried up death doesn't find me
Empty and without having given my everything

I only ask of God
He won't let me be indifferent to the wars
It is a big monster which treads hard
On the poor innocence of people
It is a big monster which treads hard
On the poor innocence of people
 People, people, people

I only ask of God
He won't let me be indifferent to the injustice
That they do not slap my other cheek
After a claw has scratched my whole body
