Seeing The Possipilities

Most of us think we aren't adventurous, and the more we're convinced of this, the less hope we have of loosening up and getting better.

Learn to develop a true sense of adventure with this mini-guide to the how, why, when and wow of opening up your life.

Talk Yourself Up:
Jim Loehr, PhD, cofounded a high-performance training center for athletes and executives in Orlando, Florida. During the day, his clients repeat to themselves mottos they've composed, like "I am self-reliant", "I am decisive", "I'm a good problem solver", to counteract the running self-critique the rest of us tend to deliver all day ("I am way too needy", "I can't make a decision to save my life", "Why can't I solve my problems?!").

Get Unstuck:
Maggie Craddock, a coach of employees of Goldman Sachs, says that people who are feeling as if life is closing in on them have one thing in common: They're having trouble separating what they think they should want (a promotion, a big fat raise, the return of casual Fridays) from what they really want (recognition, a sense of purpose or balance in their lives).

What are you really looking for? "People have to ask themselves, How is my sense of who I am being shaped by the people I'm around?" says Craddock. "Is that keeping me in my rut or helping me out of it?"

Take a Risk:
There's programs specifically designed to help people brave that next step.and there’s schools that insert people into some hairy situations and help them prove to themselves how much they can accomplish

Create your own at-home version by taking small risks, then graduating to larger ones.

Who Will Buy??

Who will buy this wonderful morning?
Such a sky you never did see!
Who will tie it up with a ribbon
And put it in a box for me?
So I could see it at my leisure
Whenever things go wrong
And I would keep it as a treasure
To last my whole life long.

Who will buy this wonderful feeling?
I'm so high ... I swear I could fly.
Me, oh my!
I don't want to lose it

So what am I to do?
To keep the sky so blue?
There must be someone who will buy?
Who will buy?

There'll never be a day so sunny,
It could not happen twice!
Where is the man with all the money?
It's cheap at half the price!

Who will buy?
Who will buy?
Must be someone
Who will ... buy?

Chocolate Qoutes :D

You know? I wished to write about my love of chocolate since a very long time ago. I just didn’t know what to write!! Till I found those quotes :D ... Aren’t they brilliant 8-> ?

- "Life is like a box of chocolates...You never know what you're gonna get." Forrest Gump in Forrest Gump

- "If you are not feeling well, if you have not slept, chocolate will revive you." Marquise de Sévigné

- "Chocolate is a perfect food, as wholesome as it is delicious, a beneficent restorer of exhausted power. It is the best friend of those engaged in literary pursuits." Baron Justus von Liebig

- "Nine out of ten people like chocolate. The tenth person always lies." John Q. Tullius

- "Forget love... I'd rather fall in chocolate!" Author Unknown

- "There are four basic food groups: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate and chocolate truffles." Author Unknown

- “Chocolate is my best friend in sophisticated times. The 5th of May is my Chocolate Day :D. I’d give it all up for sitting in our balcony with a fine chocolate bar and the open night sky, and get lost in my thoughts” Yasmen Refaat of course ;)

Love Of Allah (Subhanu Wa Taalaa)

Ibn Al-Qaiyim mentioned ten causes that result in Allah's love for His slave and the slave's love for his Lord. These ten are:

First, reciting the Qur'an while pondering over its meanings and what is meant by it.

Second, getting closer to Allah by performing voluntary deeds after completing obligatory deeds. This is as is stated in a Hadith Qudsi: "My slave continues getting closer to Me by performing voluntary deeds until I love him." [al-Bukhari]

Third, continual remembrance of Allah under all circumstances, with one's tongue, heart and actions. The extent of one's love of Allah is determined by this.

Fourth, giving precedence to what He loves over what you love when you are overtaken by your desires.

Fifth, the heart being avid of Allah's Names, and Attributes and the heart roaming in that garden of knowledge.

Sixth, observing Allah's kindness, goodness and bounties, both hidden and open.

Seventh, and this is the most wonderful, the heart being soft, subdued and meek before Allah.

Eighth, being alone with Allah during the time when the Lord descends during the last portion of the night while reading His Book and ending that by asking for forgiveness and repenting.

Ninth, sitting with the beloved and sincere, benefiting from the most fruitful of their speech. And not to speak unless speaking is more beneficial and you know that it will improve your state and be beneficial to others.

Tenth, remaining away from every cause that comes between the heart and Allah.

These ten causes take the lovers to the station of true love and bring them to their Beloved.

Steps For Building Positive Attitude

Step1:
Change focus, look for the positive. Most people find what they are looking for. If they are looking for friendship, happiness and the positive, that is what they get. If they are looking for fights or indifference, then that is what they get.

Step 2:
Make a habit of doing it now. Life is not a dress rehearsal. I don't care what philosophy you believe in, we have got only one shot at this game called life. The stakes are too high. The stakes are the future generations.

Step 3:
Develop an attitude of gratitude. Count your blessings, not your troubles. Take time to smell the roses.

Step 4:
Get into a continuous education program. Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others.

Step 5:
Build a positive self-esteem. If you want to build positive self-esteem quickly, one of the fastest ways is to do something for others who cannot repay you in cash or kind.

Step 6:
Stay away from negative influences. A person’s character is not only judged by the company he keeps, but also by the company he avoids.

Step 7:
Learn to like the things that need to be done. Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

Step 8:
Start your day with a positive. If you are going to change your life, you need to start immediately and do it flamboyantly.

The Love Of Friends

Because of all the ways you've touched my life, because of all we've shared, your friendship means so much to me. When we first met, it was easy to see that we had many things in common. It was as if we had known each other forever and now it seems as if we've always been the good friends we are today.

I treasure our special relationship we have. You make so many times even better simply by being you. You make me happy simply by being my friend. And if I'm ever feeling a little down or upset about something, I know I can turn to you. If I'm facing a problem, I know you'll be there to face it with me. You'll help if you can because you care.

I care a lot about you too and about our friendship. That's why I try to be sensitive to your needs and feelings as you are to mine. That's why I try to be the kind of friend you've been to me.

I gain something meaningful each time we're together. It might be a brand new viewpoint on an old situation or the way you help me see the funny side of things I used to take so seriously or a different image of myself because you always see the best in me.

For all these reasons and more, I'm glad that our friendship keeps growing even more beautiful with time. I feel that we've both grown, too because we support each other, because we believe in each other because we're friends.

I'm richer for knowing you. And I feel certain that in the future I'll continue to discover even more reasons why you're such a special person and why your friendship means so very much to me.

This Post is made with Love...

Dedicated To All my Dear Friends...

Love and Hugs to you my Friends

Tell Me Why?!!!

Well, I claim that I’ve heard a good number of inspiring songs with sincere words and meanings for great artists, Don’t I ?! But nothing is brilliant as this kid, masha2 Allah bgad !!!

In my dreams, children sing
A song of love for every boy and girl
The sky is blue, the fields are green
And laughter is the language of the world
Then I wake and all I see
Is a world full of people in need

 Tell me why
Does it have to be like this
Tell me why
Is there something I have missed
Tell me why
Cause I don't understand

When so many need somebody
We don't give a helping hand
Tell me why Every day, I ask myself
What will I have to do to be a man
Do I have, to stand and fight
To prove to everybody who I am
Is that what my life is for?
To waste in a world full of war

 Tell me why
Why why does the tigers run?!
Tell me why
Why why do we shoot the gun?!
Tell me why
Why why, do we never learn?!

Can someone tell us why we let the forests burn!!
Why why do we say we can?!
Tell me why
Why why is it still the same?!
Tell me why
Why why do we talk and run?!
Tell me why
Can someone tell us why we let the ocean die!!
Why why do we always say?!
Tell me why
Why why do we pass the blame?!
Tell me why
Why why does it never rain?!
Can someone tell us why we cannot just be friends!!
 Why Why?!!!

Life Is Beautiful

Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day

When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement,
”My Purpose is to …… today” !!

Live with 3 E’s: Energy, Enthusiasm, Empathy.

And the 3 F’s: Faith, Family, Friends.

Spend more time with People over the age of 70 and under the age of Six

Dream more while you are awake

Try to make at least three people smile each day

Realize that life is School and you are here to learn, and pass your tests.

Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class

Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good

Life is so short to waste time hating anyone
