A School’s River - Short Documentary

For over 25 years, Didi Anandarama built schools in remote pore villages in Philippine, Thailand, India, and now in Egypt. Her school at El-Baharwa Village is the first EVER public place in the whole village.

One fine afternoon, we had a chat about the schools and her way of handling it all.

This is my second trial as a one-man-crew, and my third in directing and producing documentaries. This one was shot over multiple visits to El-Baharwa in 2018.
